Our home in Goričko.
Cana Royal Water is Slovenia's first premium artesian water. It rises naturally under its own pressure from a deep, protected aquifer in the Goričko Nature Park - and reaches your table almost untouched.
A spring that pushes itself.
An artesian spring rises under its own pressure - no pumps, no extraction. Cana's aquifer sits beneath the Goričko Nature Park, a UNESCO-recognised cross-border reserve in north-eastern Slovenia.
The bottling line is on-site. The water you taste in a Cannes suite or a Singapore lobby is the same water that left the spring earlier that week.
A rare ratio.

High calcium with very low sodium is unusual. It's what makes Cana sit so cleanly on the palate - and why fine-water sommeliers have taken notice.
More than a century in the making.
In Nuskova, villagers discovered mineral spring water beneath their land more than 100 years ago and named it “Slatina.” A bottling plant was set up before the Second World War, supplying Slatina across Slovenia and Austria.
1900
The old village school is built
The schoolhouse that will, more than a century later, become our bottling home opens its doors in Nuskova.
Pre-1940s
Slatina is bottled for the first time
Locals build a small plant and supply the mineral spring water across Slovenia and Austria.
2007
A new research borehole
Drawing on historical analyses of Nuskova's water, we begin a new project: securing permits, choosing partners, and preparing to drill.
2008
Drilling completed
The borehole is finished in May. Analyses confirm the water is exceptionally high in quality.
2010
Acquiring the old school
We purchase the 1900 schoolhouse from the municipality of Rogašovci to become our future bottling site.
2016
Concession granted
After a long wait, the concession is awarded in September and the building-permit process begins.
2017
The bottling facility takes shape
Exactly a year later we start fitting out the building for water bottling.
Today
A restored home for Cana Royal Water
The old school is fully restored, its original character preserved, and now houses a technologically advanced mineral-water bottling line. A tasting hall is planned, where visitors will sample Cana Royal Water straight from the source.
